Listing Guidelines
Simple rules that keep the marketplace trustworthy, safe, and useful for everyone. Read before you list.
What you can list
- Dry herb vaporizers (portable and desktop)
- Concentrate vaporizers, e-rigs, and dab pens
- Ball vapes and induction heaters
- Vaporizer accessories: stems, mouthpieces, screens, water tools, cases
- Sealed consumables (screens, tips) in original packaging
- Bundled lots of vaporizer-related gear
- All brands: Storz and Bickel, DynaVap, Pax, Arizer, Sticky Brick, artisan builds, and every other brand
- Used, refurbished, or lightly used items with honest condition disclosures
What cannot be listed
- Cannabis, concentrates, or any controlled substance
- Combustion pipes, bongs, and non-vaporizer smoking devices
- Used screens, coils, or consumables in non-sealed or dirty condition
- Counterfeit, clone, or misrepresented products listed as authentic
- Commercial vendor listings (this platform is for personal sales only)
- Tobacco products or nicotine delivery devices
- Any non-vaporizer items outside of directly related accessories
- Listings with misleading descriptions, false photos, or inflated condition claims
Every listing needs honest photos.
Photos are your contract with the buyer. What they see is what they should receive.
Show It Clean
At least one photo must show the device is clean. This means the bowl or herb chamber, the mouthpiece and airpath, and any screens. This is required before shipping.
Show All Sides
Photograph the front, back, and sides. If there are scratches, dings, or wear marks, those must be photographed and mentioned in the description.
Show What Is Included
Lay out every accessory included in the sale. Bags, stems, cases, chargers, spare screens. If it ships with the device, show it in a photo.
This applies to all listings regardless of condition grade. Even a "For Parts" device should be cleaned before it changes hands. Dirty devices arriving by mail is a community-wide problem we take seriously at SCE. Listings for devices shipped dirty may result in account action.
Write a description worth reading.
A strong listing description reduces questions, increases sale speed, and protects you from post-sale disputes. Cover these elements every time:
- Brand and model name (exact)
- Purchase date or approximate age
- Condition grade with honest explanation
- Usage level (light, moderate, heavy)
- Everything included in the sale
- Any known flaws, cosmetic or functional
- Shipping timeline and method
- Accepted payment methods
- Whether you ship internationally
A listing that mentions a small scratch and explains it honestly will sell faster than a listing that omits it. Buyers on SCE are experienced. They appreciate honesty and will pay full price for a device they trust has been described accurately.
Check sold listings for comparable items before pricing yours. Overpriced listings sit. Underpriced listings create problems. A fair price benefits everyone and keeps the marketplace healthy.
What happens with violations
Edit Request
Minor issues like missing information or unclear photos will result in a mod message asking you to update the listing within 48 hours.
Listing Removal
Listings that violate guidelines or cannot be corrected will be unpublished. You will be notified with a reason and can re-list with corrections.
Account Action
Repeated violations, scam attempts, or deliberately misleading listings will result in suspension. See the Moderation Policy for details.
